Since 1993 the Centre for the Study of Modern Pottery has been organizing educational programs addressing to different age groups, levels of education and social groups (children of pre-schooling and schooling age, people with special needs, individual visitors). The programs are adapted according to interests and age.
The purpose of these programs is to acquaint the students with the various sides of modern pottery of every day use as well as with the folk culture of yesterday. Moreover, they aim at familiarizing people with the environment of museum in general.
Pottery for adults
The CSMP offers a series of seminars on pottery addressed to adults. The seminars focus on the theory and practice of pottery. Apart from the lessons on the techniques of pottery there are also lectures on technology and the typology of contemporary and ancient pottery, events, museum visits.
